This is yet another christening/ baptism type cake, but is a variation of Benjamin's cake. This one has a more elaborate and ornate style, and the exquisity of the cake definitely comes through the white roses.
I made modifications to this cake, particularly in applying orthodox crosses and scripture.
Again, my inspiration came from the architecture of the church. The cross in the centre and angel wings were inspired by the gothic style stained glass windows of the church. I added doves to the cake as a thought came to me of doves being released or flying through the cathedral of the church by the devine windows. A beautiful cake for the beautiful prince.
