Lots of flowers!

So this cake was completely covered in these little purple, pink, and golden flowers... confetti style! After pressing out all the flowers, I attached them to the cake one by one. The flowers were then brushed with iredescent petal dust so they shimmer and glitter in the light. I don't think these pictures really do that justice, but they're glittery :) The final step was to pipe a little yellow drop in the center of each flower for added flowery-ness!

This was made for a bridal shower. (May 2007)
