1971 Plymouth Barracuda

Since this car was made for Father's Day, I had to add a special license plate to it! Again, you can't really tell in this picture, but the tail lights actually shimmer and the silver bumpers have been brushed with silver metallic petal dust.

... 1971 Plymouth Barracuda! The car was made by creating relief and sculpting the fondant for detailing. The rims were detailed as was the grille, which had to be the most intricate parts of this cake. I know I picked the easy one (haha) for my first attempt at a car cake. (June 2007)
