The cakes are all cheesecake, which I sculpted on slopes again and put on risers of various heights to look like sand dunes. I then toasted some ground almond to look like sand you would find on a pebbly beach. Grasses and toasted almond sand dunes of cheesecake
I was approached by a bride whose husband did not like any other type of dessert except for cheesecake. Her wedding theme was "beach"... the kind of beach you would find up north Ontario. This was extremely exciting for me because the ideas were just flooding my head!
